Velenkosini Hlabisa named new IFP leader

Velenkosini Hlabisa has been elected as the new leader of the Inkatha Freedom Party.
The party’s hosting its national elective conference in uLundi in KwaZulu-Natal.

Outgoing IFP leader Mangosuthu Buthelezi said he’s proud of his legacy.
Hlabisa has been groomed to take over from Buthelezi, who was at the helm for four decades.
It seems unlikely that Hlabisa will take the IFP in a different direction.
He shares the same vision and approach towards the Zulu King as Buthelezi.
