Gauteng: At 07H33 Wednesday morning Netcare 911 responded to an adult pedestrian who had sustained moderate injuries after being struck down by a mini-bus taxi which caught alight after hitting a light pole on Andries Pretorius Street in Eastleigh Johannesburg.
The taxi driver escaped unharmed however the pedestrian was treated and stabilized on the scene before being transported by ambulance to the hospital for further treatment.
