Nonkululeko didn’t know that her visit to her friend’s workplace back in 2011 would turn out to be the best thing that could ever happen to her.

It was during this very visit, that Njabulo saw her. You see, Nonkululeko’s friend and Njabulo are colleagues. It was love at first sight for Njabulo and he asked about Nonkululeko. Luckily for him, his colleague didn’t mind giving him Nonkululeko’s number.

So, he called her and after the awkward introduction, he blurted out to her that he loved her and would like nothing more than to make her his wife. Talk about courage!

After chatting for a couple of weeks, Nonkululeko also realised she liked him too. Njabulo says what he likes about her is her beauty, physique.

The couple cites living apart as one of the challenges they’ve faced. You see, their religious beliefs go against an unmarried couple living together. They also say they follow certain principles i.e. they only meet in public.

Njabulo proposed in church and tonight, they invite us to show people that you don’t need much, but your love for each other.
