Mop-up operations are underway outside Hermanus in the Western Cape following a blaze that broke out on Christmas day.
The fire, however, has been contained.
More than 800 hectares of vegetation has been burnt.
Farmhouses were also under threat.
Officials at the Overstrand Municipality’s fire department said they’ve put out all the hotspots.
Firefighters are monitoring the situation for any flare ups.
No injuries have been reported.
