Here is How to Apply for DJ Black Coffee R3.5-million Bursary Fund

In the wake of the pandemic, a lot of families in Mzansi have failed to access educational requirements hence they need help elsewhere. Black Coffee joins a list of South African celebrities who have come up with ways to assist people in Mzansi.

Recently Actress Nomzamo Mbatha announced that her foundation The Lighthouse is embarking on a nationwide search for primary schools that are in need of support.
The foundation is set to donate 500 packs that include a school jersey, a pair of school shoes, goodies from CottonOn, and toiletries from Unilever SA.

No doubt Black Coffee is one of the best DJs in the world, but he has done tremendous charity work. Last year, the musician raised over R500,000 for COVID-19 relief funds.
The celebrated DJ has extended his kind gesture again. The DJ will be giving the less privileged an opportunity to study at the HyperionDev institution and have their fees fully paid for a qualification in technology.

In partnership with HyperionDev, they will be giving away bursaries worth R3.5-million. Taking it to Twitter HyperionDev had this to say.

“This year, we’re making tech education accessible to all. We’re giving away full scholarships to deserving dreamers with big ideas and plans for the technology. Over the next few weeks, let us know why you think you deserve a scholarship funded by Black Coffee and many other prominent investors around the world,” states the HyperionDev website.

However for one to enter one need to send a 60-second video and write a 200-word essay stating why they are the best candidate to receive the funding.
