
Tumi Morake recently took to Twitter to share that her nanny of 5 years passed away last week. The actress and comedian went on to explain how the news sent her into grief after essentially losing her children’s support system.
The media personality who successfully dabbles between radio, comedy and acting has been in the entertainment industry for several years, but over the past 5 years, the star’s career has gone on an upward trajectory, so we can only imagine how she feels after losing someone who was there to see it all.
“Our live-in nanny, aunty Chipo passed away last week. I went into grief I never expected. All good and well being there for the kids, but losing the person who helped your career by co- raising your kids for five years hit me hard,” she wrote.
A week ago, Tumi’s The Queen co-star, Thembsie Matu lost her husband after he drowned in their home. According to Sowetan, the actress revealed that on the day of her husband’s passing, she was lying in bed and when she got up, she allegedly found her husband in the pool. Condolences to Tumi & her family.
