KwaZulu-Natal: At 08H46 Monday morning Netcare 911 with multiple other services responded to a helicopter crash in the Umgeni River Next to the N2 in Springfield Durban.
When Emergency personnel arrived on the scene they found the helicopter covered by thick reeds partially submerged in the water.
Sadly the pilot and passenger had sustained fatal injuries and were declared deceased.
