Health minister Zweli Mkhize briefs media on Gauteng healthcare facilities

Health minister Zweli Mkhize conducted an oversight inspection at hospitals in Pretoria on Tuesday.

The Health Department confirmed 9,010 new COVID-19 cases in South Africa on Monday, taking the cumulative number of cases to 1,346,936.

The department has also confirmed a further 344 deaths. This takes the death toll to 37,449.
