Vaccine makes you strong & good in bed – Health Minister opens up as all Muvhango actors get jabbed

The cast of Muvhango got jabbed! Speaking at the SABC while it happened, Health Minister Dr Joe Phaahla gave reasons why it was important to get vaccinated against the virus.

He even spoke about some of the side effects he personally experienced during his visit to the public broadcaster’s offices in Auckland Park, Joburg, on Wednesday 15 December as moral support.

“Men don’t want to take it because they fear it might destroy their manhood, but I want to assure them today that it’s not like that.

“Instead, it will make you strong and good in bed,” said Phaahla.

The minister said women feared the vaccine would make them barren.

“That’s not true either. Vaccines are safe. “They won’t prevent you from conceiving,” he said.

Gabriel Temudzani, who plays the role of Chief Azwindini on the SABC 2 soapie, said he got vaccinated and was doing well.

“I haven’t had any side effects. I’m perfectly fine,” he said.

Temudzani encouraged people to get the jab, saying it would help protect them.

The soapie’s crew were at the visit before going backstage to prepare for the day’s shoot of the popular show.

The minister was accompanied by Gauteng Sport, Art, Culture and Recreation MEC Mbali Hlophe, who stayed to watch the shoot.

Mbali also encouraged people to get vaccinated, saying the youth were slacking.

“We hope they will be motivated when they see their favourite actors and actress getting it too,” she said.
