Heavy Engineering Company seeks a Health and Safety officer
to monitor and report on a shift basis any non-compliance with company health and safety rules, identifying potential safety hazards and risks in the workplace, reporting on safety concerns from shop floor as well as injuries on duty and assisting with incident and accident investigations and improve safety awareness.
This position will also require giving training in safety rules and giving assistance to first aiders in the treatment of IOD’s as well as performing health and safety inspections.
Min 2 years previous work experience within Health and Safety in an Engineering Environment and Qualifications related to Health and Safety and first aid.
