Six seriously injured in West Rand head-on collision

Gauteng: At 17H51 Wednesday evening, Netcare 911 responded to a collision on the N14 between Randfontein and Carletonville on the West Rand.

Reports indicate that a car and bakkie were involved in a head-on collision.

Medics found that six people, including two children, had sustained injuries ranging from moderate to critical.

The patients were all treated on scene before being flown by Netcare 911 as well as other private helicopter air ambulances to the hospital for further care.

The moderately injured patients were treated on scene and once stabilized were transported by various ambulance services to the hospital.
