Exotic dancer and reality show star Zodwa Wabantu, has revealed she has also been faced with increased financial strain due to the coronavirus pandemic. Zodwa took to Instagram to tell her followers that, she has been forced to sell her South Beach flat in Durban, as her pocket hit hard due to the pandemic.
Zodwa posted an image of her flat and said it is no longer under her name. She captioned her post “When sh*t hits your pocket you let one of your business go closed.
Zodwa is not the only artist to open up about her financial problems this lockdown, numerous artists who have affected by a loss of income due to gigs and events being canceled or postponed, have come forward to share their struggles.
DJ Zinhle also recently opened up about being asked by reputable companies to perform a gig or live stream, for free. The DJ explained that she has not had an income in 3 months.
