Man gunned down in suspected gang shooting in Hanover Park
A 19-year-old man was shot and killed in a suspected gang shooting in Hanover Park, Cape Town.
The deadly shooting happened at Ryburg Road at around 8 am on Tuesday morning.
Police said that the man was shot in the head and declared dead upon arrival at a nearby hospital.
Police spokesperson, FC van Wyk: “The circumstances surrounding this shooting incident are under investigation. The motive and the suspect or suspects are currently unknown. The possibility that it may be gang-related will be investigated.”
