To keep all building fabric, fittings and equipment in good repair with a minimum of downtime by providing day to day maintenance of the Fairmont Zimbali Resort under the direction of the Maintenance Manager.

Summary of Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service
Repairs to Fairmont Zimbali Resort FF&E, including finishes.
General building works, interior and exterior, as required.
Maintain highest standards for the maintenance and safe operation of issued tools and equipment.
Attend to planned preventative maintenance programmes.
Submit daily job cards to Maintenance Manager.
Other duties as directed by the Maintenance Manager as required.
To assist the shift engineers as and when required to fulfill their duties.
To attend to the general cleaning and neatness of the workshop.
To ensure that all areas are kept clean and neat after any work has been completed.
Qualifications:
Candidate should have a minimum of two years experience in handling all general trade-related expertise
Knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures and use of test equipment would be beneficial
Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):
Constant standing and walking throughout shift
Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in South Africa
