According to IOL reports, the accident not only claimed Enhle Gambushe’s life but also the life of her close friend – Samke Majola.
On Sunday morning, South Africans woke up to the shocking and heartbreaking news of the death of young actress – Enhle Gambushe who passed away in a car accident that occurred on Durban’s Botanic Gardens Road.
The publication has also revealed that a man by the name of Obed Dube, who was behind the wheel when the accident occurred was arrested during the week and charged with two counts of culpable homicide.
IOL also confirmed that the National Prosecuting authority had confirmed that Dube was released on R4000 bail and is expected to return to the Durban Magistrate Court in October.
Enhle is said to be buried this weekend in Durban.
Her fellow cast member – Portia Ncwane in the week paid a heartfelt tribute to her co-worker who had become a close friend to the late actress.
“Rest in Peace Sthandwa Sami. There’s a lot I still want to say to you. I had finally found my twin sister. We just found each other again and now you’re gone,” she said in a tribute dedicated to Enhle.
