12 roomed guest house in CT CBD seeks to attract the leadership talents of an experienced Guest House General Manager. This property is under new ownership and considerable reconstruction and renovation is currently underway with a new vision going forward.

Reporting directly to the Owners, key performance areas include overseeing the total refurbishment and renovation process; thereafter managing the day-to-day operations including guest relations, administration, reservations, sales& marketing, employee relations, housekeeping and general property maintenance.

Selection criteria include:

2 years relevant boutique hotel all-rounder experience
Excited at the prospect of building up a project from scratch
Stimulated by introducing new linen, cutlery, crockery, etc.
Ability to inspire staff towards the new way of doing things
A natural problem solver and creative thinker
Ability to work shifts and weekends & public holidays
Basic bookkeeping skills
Computer literate including MS Office & PMS (Opera, Semper, Nightsbridge)
Impeccably presented with superior organisational skills
Knowledge of C Town eateries, bars and attractions
Sound tour operator exposure
Valid driver’s license and own transport essential
Living in the area preferable due to flexible shift work
Able to commence duties at short notice
