Electricity Minister Ramokgopa says grid collapse improbable
South Africa’s power grid is not in danger of collapse.
Minister of Electricity Kgosientsho Ramakgopa says higher blackout levels aren’t indicative of the network being in danger.
Rather these levels are proof that control measures are in place.
Ramakgopa was briefing the media on the implementation of the Energy Action Plan.
