An established farm in the Stellenbosch area is seeking to employ a Horticulturist.
* Technical knowledge in a specialized field is necessary.
* Careful, conservative, exacting, demanding and critical behaviour is required.
* The job entails a strong task, hands-on approach, good attention to detail and close follow-up.
Duties include:
* Overseeing the cultivation and maintenance of plants and crops
* Managing weed/ pest and disease control programmes
* Analysing horticultural yields and optional cost
Requirements:
* Relevant qualifications in Agriculture, Horticulture or Biological Sciences
* Excellent knowledge of Horticulture crops as well as good experience in Greenhouse.
Salary: R30 000 – R35 000
Starting date: As soon as possible.
