Key Functions:
The design and build of a range of online courses, based on a content matrix provided by an Instructional Designer, utilizing instructional design theories, methodologies and adult
Learning best practice standards.
Working with content developers, instructional designers and development teams to create online learning materials.
A solid understanding of adult learning principles is important, but expert knowledge of authoring tool software is a priority here.
Creating style guides for developing and future materials.
Staying up to date with the latest design methods and technologies.
Ensure general quality assurance of developed solutions.
Minimum requirements:
Matric
Graphic Design Degree or 3-year Diploma (Visual Communication / Media Studies) or similar diploma or degree
Minimum 1-year office experience
Fully bilingual
Software & Skill requirements:
Articulate Storyline – advantageous
Adobe Captivate – advantageous
Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Dreamweaver)
Organizational Skills
Excellent communication skills
