SA violence: Alleged instigator granted bail
Alleged unrest instigator, Themba Mnisi, is a free man for now.
He has been granted R40,000 bail in the Vereeniging Magistrate’s Court.
Mnisi was arrested in early August for inciting public violence.
Mnisi is a regional organiser of the ANC in Sedibeng.
Meanwhile, two more people have been charged with inciting violence through social media.
One was arrested in KwaZulu-Natal on Saturday and the other in Gauteng.
A popular Twitter account called ‘Sphithiphithi Evaluator’ is allegedly operated by the Gauteng suspect.
