The government is hoping South Africa will be able to attract investors at the Dubai Expo. The Expo’s theme is connecting minds and creating the future.
South Africa is part of over hundred countries showcasing on this global stage. President Cyril Ramaphosa is expected to lead the celebration of South Africa Day on Monday.
Minister of Trade and Industry, Ebrahim Patel said, “the World Expo is an event itself which every five years draws millions of people and they look at the exhibitions of countries across the globe.
“Our objective is to tell the South African story to try and get people to fall in love with our country and come as tourists and see the products that SA makes so that we penetrate other markets and very important to catch the eyes of investors.
