Deputy Chief Justice Raymond Zondo is urging the media not to publish information from Pravin Gordhan’s leaked submission to the State Capture Inquiry.
In a statement, he said it’s against regulations and amounts to a criminal offence. Gordhan is expected to testify before the inquiry this month.
The leaked document led to the EFF challenging the Public Enterprises Minister, calling him a master manipulator.
The EFF has written an official complaint to the Public Protector, calling on her to investigate Gordhan for allegedly lying in a 2016 parliamentary response about meeting the Guptas.
