Outrage after alleged GBV attack at private student residence in Cape Town
There has been wide condemnation following a horrific stabbing incident at a private student residence in Cape Town.
It’s alleged a male student from the University of the Western Cape (UWC) stabbed a female student from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT).
Videos of the attack have since been circulating on social media.
Blood can be seen pouring onto the ground as the female student lies on the floor.
The victim has been taken to Tygerberg Hospital for emergency surgery and the suspect has been arrested.
