Ashraf al-Qudra, the Gaza health ministry’s spokesman, said that the ministry has made the decision to no longer coordinate the evacuation of injured patients and medical personnel with the World Health Organisation.
He made these remarks following the detention of several physicians and the head of Al Shifa Hospital.
Al-Qudra added that Israeli soldiers used violence against medical staff and patients and that Israel and the UN should be held accountable for the detention of medical personnel.
