Gauteng pupil left traumatized after teacher cut his hair

A Gauteng teacher faces disciplinary action from the Education Department, for allegedly cutting a pupil’s hair, because they were late for school and should the education authorities fail to act satisfactorily to resolve the matter, the parents threaten to open a criminal case against the teacher.

They say their child, who’s in grade 6, has been discriminated against, humiliated, and left traumatized, by the incident, that took place in full view of other pupils.
