Gauteng Premier announces new safety regime from 1 May

Gauteng Premier, Panyaza Lesufi says the culture of lawlessness in the province is exactly why millions of rands have been set aside for crime fighting.
Lesufi says Monday’s discovery of two murdered children shows once again that residents are not safe in their own communities.
In this year’s provincial budget, R173 million was set aside to procure state-of-the-art technology and recruit peace wardens in high-risk areas.
Lesufi says come the first of May, a new safety regime will begin in Gauteng
