Law enforcement officials are promising to crack the whip on crime and drunk and driving in Gauteng.
Two people were arrested for drunk driving during Okae Molao operations.
People are being urged to adhere to the rules of the road.
Police say operations will intensify as the Easter Weekend approaches.
“I want to urge the motorists that they must refrain from drinking and driving,” said Max Masha, acting Gauteng Commissioner.
“We are on the long weekend. We know that people are going to party, but drink responsibly.
“After this long weekend, we still have Easter weekend. We call on them to refrain from drinking and driving… Let’s adhere to the regulations.
