Gauteng Health MEC, Nomathemba Mokgethi visited the family of the nurse that was shot and killed at Tembisa hospital on Wednesday. She was shot by an on-duty police officer who then turned the gun on himself.
He is still in critical condition in hospital. Police suspect it may have been a domestic dispute
Meanwhile, nurses union, Denosa, wants a relook at gun rules at public health facilities.
