Gauteng Command Council gives COVID-19 update

The Provincial Command Council is giving an update on COVID-19 in Gauteng.

The briefing led by Gauteng Premier David Makhura will cover the Comprehensive Health Response, schools opening readiness and the economy.

There have been 8,949 coronavirus related deaths in the province while 380,621 people have recovered from the virus.

Gauteng currently has 6,990 active COVID-19 cases.

In other news – Actor Pastor Mjosty fired from Mzansi Magic drama series eHostela

Comedian Pastor Mjosty has left the popular Mzansi Magic drama series, eHostela. It’s alleged that he was booted out because of a misunderstanding with the producers.

But Mjosty, whose real name is Mjostana Mbele, said he’s the one who ditched the show, not the other way around. Learn more
