Gauteng ANC to continue push to scrap e-tolls

The ANC in Gauteng is promising to focus on economic transformation and job creation.

The party says it’s also continuing its fight to have e-tolls scrapped.

ANC’s Chief Whip in the province, Mzi Khumalo, says it’s calling for the government to come up with an alternative plan.

These are some of the resolutions taken at the party’s provincial Lekgotla in Irene, south of Pretoria.

Officials have been meeting ahead of Gauteng Premier David Makhura’s State of the Province Address, on Monday.
