Thousands of businesses & banks set to be impacted by G4S employees strike

As G4S employees embark on a strike across the country on Friday, thousands of businesses and banks are set to be impacted.

The South African Transport and Allied Workers Union (SATAWU) is demanding for G4S to explain the criteria it used to terminate the workers.

“We are also demanding that the employer must consult the last-in, first-out system, and consult with us,” said spokesperson Amanda Tshemasa.
