Full Function Bookkeeper wanted urgently: Salary R7 500 to R10 000 per month

Functions:
Perform full bookkeeping function
Provide bank reconciliations and cashflow to GM daily
Perform complete daily stock control function (kitchen, cleaning and medical consumables)
Prepare purchase orders for all purchases to be signed by managers before transmission
Prepare suppliers reconciliations and summary for payment
Prepare debtors invoices and statements
Manage petty cash
Manage fleet cards
Maintain financial files
Maintain resident files
Maintain employee files
Prepare timesheet and leave information for payroll
Update client and marketing databases as required
Forward general queries received by email to relevant managers for action
Assist with the first contact email on inquiries for accommodation and assist with Facebook posts
Internet research on specific projects
Requirements:
Non-negotiable
Matric with accounting OR recognized bookkeeping course
Minimum 10 years of working experience in the financial position
Computer proficiency (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, Powerpoint)
Driver’s license and own reliable transport
Fluent in English and Afrikaans
Advantage
Further education in accounting
Experience in the service industry or NPO sector
Fluency in an African language
Public Driving Permit (current)
Proficiency in Pastel or other recognized accounting software
Personal traits
Responsibility and willingness to accept accountability
Exceptional degree of accuracy
Ability to work independently while adhering to deadlines and operating procedures
Team player with good inter-personal skills
Teachability and adaptability
Willingness to ask for clarification or assistance when in doubt
Willingness to perform tasks outside of job description when needed
Flexible on working hours occasionally
