Fuel price hike predicted for November

The Automobile Association (AA) are warning of a possible fuel price increase in November. According to the association’s data, they expect a petrol price rise of 99 cents a litre. Diesel and illuminating paraffin may increase by R1,42 cents a litre.

If the data is correct it would be the largest hike for diesel and illuminating paraffin in South African history.

The AA says their predictions are based on the Dollar price and oil price. They believe that R20 a litre for petrol could be the reality before the end of the year.
