Student union Cosas is picketing outside the Wessel Maree Secondary School in the Free State, on Monday morning.
It’s over a video that’s gone viral, showing a male teacher shoving a pupil.
The teacher is reportedly suspended.
It’s still unclear what led to the altercation.
The education department officials in the province will be at school.
