Four injured in R44 collision
Western Cape: At 19H11 Monday night, Netcare 911 responded to a collision on the R44 in the Cape Winelands.
Reports indicate that a mini-bus taxi and a bakkie were involved in a collision, resulting in the bakkie being torn apart as it rolled down an embankment.
The driver of the mini-bus taxi had also lost control resulting in the taxi rolling over.
Medics assessed the scene and found that four people had sustained minor to moderate injuries.
The patients were treated on scene and once stabilized were transported by Metro ems and various private ambulance services to the hospital.
