Former Nelson Mandela Bay councillor Andile Lungisa speaks after release from prison

Former Nelson Mandela Bay councillor, Andile Lungisa has been released from prison, on parole on Tuesday.

Lungisa served just two months of his three-year sentence. He was found guilty of assaulting a DA councillor with a glass jug in 2016.

Correctional Services says he’s served his minimum required time and attended rehabilitation programmes. Lungisa addressed his supporters.
