Former investigator claims politicians names removed from Vrede dairy report

Former investigator Tebogo Kekana has revealed that investigators into the Vrede Dairy Farm investigation were told to remove the names of implicated politicians from the final report.
He has been testifying before an impeachment inquiry into suspended Public Protector Busisiwe Mkhwebane’s fitness to hold office.
The inquiry entered its second week on Monday Parliament is considering various court defeats and whether this shows incompetence and a sign that she is not fit for office.
Kekana, who is currently challenging his dismissal in the Labour Court, will return to the hot seat on Tuesday for cross-examination to continue.
