Purpose of Role:
Provide competent support to effectively operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment at all times.
Participate with stocktaking in an accurate and timely manner.
Maintain high standards of forklift driving in accordance with company procedures.
Conduct work activities in a professional manner that reflects positively on the image of the company, and conforms to current Health and Safety legislation, upholding company Health and Safety Policy
Brief Description of the Position
General office / domestic cleaning duties
Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently following the Health and Safety procedures/policies of the company
Ability to unload and move pallets/components for storage, stacking or placement into correct bin locations
Ensure correct safety equipment is used as required for each job
Submit all documentation as required
Stock rotates materials as necessary
Report discrepancies to the Stores Supervisor
Participate in stock counting as and when required
Maintain safe and clean work environment by keeping workstations neat and tidy
Ensure safe procedures when off-loading components from delivery trucks, and that all goods received are moved to the appropriate area without delay
Wear appropriate safety equipment at all times on the job site
Ability to work independently without supervision
Comply with all company Policies and Procedures
Assist fellow employees with daily functions as and when required
Carry out all other reasonable tasks that may be delegated from time to time
Education:
Matric / Valid Forklift Driving Licence / Valid Vision Screening Certificate
Experience:
1 to 2 years of forklift driving experience within a store/warehouse environment
Requirements:
Sounds knowledge of company products, including experience in component identification Knowledge of basic warehousing operations
Fluent in English – Read and Write
Candidate Requirements:
