Five killed in Mpumalanga crash

Five people, including three tourists from the Netherlands, have been killed in a crash in Mpumalanga.
A minibus taxi, a bakkie and a truck were involved in the crash. It took place on the N4 near Schoemanskloof towards the capital, Mbombela.
It’s believed the truck and taxi collided before the truck hit the bakkie travelling in the opposite direction. All five died on the scene, while three others — including the truck driver — are being treated in hospital.
The Community Safety Department says 69 people had lost their lives on the province’s roads in February.
