FINANCIAL MANAGER urgently needed: Salary R40 000 to R50 000 per month

R40 000 – R50 000 a month

An authorised financial service provider, operating within the long-term insurance industry in South Africa, requires the services of a newly qualified C.A. to fill the position of Finance Manager. The permanent position is based in Bellville (Cape Town).

The successful candidate’s tasks and responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

Managing bank accounts (balances, Interest, payments, debit cards funds, credit card funds.)
Cashflow management and forecasting
Ensure the accounting work is up to standard (IFRS etc.) and all information is accounted for
Compilation and drafting of financial statements in accordance with IFRS
Ensuring Audit queries is answered and liaise with external audit team
Monthly management account report to board and exco
Monthly processing of journals and review of processing done by accountants
Ad hoc reports to exco and directors
Compilation of yearly budget and budget report
Calculation and submission of VAT returns
Submission of all SARS returns
Assisting HR with employees’ taxable benefits, deductions, payroll journals and reconciliation between the accounting and the payroll system.

Qualification and Experience needed:

Com C.A. (SA)
Audit experience in the financial services industry advantageous
The successful candidate must:

be willing to work over-time, as and when needed
have his/her own transport
