The African National Congress’ financial woes are a result of the Political Party Funding Act, among other issues.
That is according to party’s deputy secretary-general, Jessie Duarte.
Duarte was engaging with protesting staff members at Luthuli House in Johannesburg on Tuesday.
Workers demonstrated in various provinces over salary payments and other concerns.
Duarte has, however, promised there is a plan in place to resolve the issues.
