A great opportunity has arisen for an Accountant at a well-known and beautiful hotel. They are seeking a reliable, talented, and visionary Financial Accountant to join our team to provide and keep accurate, complete and up-to-date financial records for their group of companies and provide leadership and coordination in the administrative, accounting and budget functions in the group.
The ideal candidate will have completed his or her accounting degree and has had exposure to the accounting or finance department of a company.
Duties:
Compliance with Accounting and Tax laws and regulations
Budgets and Projections
Interpretation and presentation of monthly financial reports to the CEO
Overseeing the Debtors and Creditors functions
Monthly review of inventories and operating equipment registers
Payment of all suppliers
Review and administer the payroll system
Sign-off of monthly reconciliations
Prepare and supply auditors with annual audit requirements
Qualifications:
Accounting Qualification
Minimum 4 years of relevant accounting experience
Knowledge of Company and Tax Laws
Requirements and Responsibilities:
Preferably residing in Northern Suburbs or nearby vicinity.
MS Excel and MS Word literacy required at the advanced level.
Must be fluent in English and Afrikaans.
Bright, energetic, likes a hands-on approach.
Accurate and meticulous.
The ability to organize, analyze and prioritize
Perform under pressure and meet deadlines
The ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Positive attitude and strong people skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Salary – R300 000 p.a
