Requirements:
Qualified CA(SA), having passed Board 1 and Board 2 Exams
BCom Financial Accounting
Honours in Financial Accounting
US GAAP / SOX experience
Articles with Big 4 Auditing Firms
2-3 years post article experience
2-3 years retail experience, motor industry experience would be preferential
3 years financial management experience
Full financial accounting experience – trial balance to financial statements
Sound knowledge of taxation, including deferred tax
Meticulous work ethic and willing to work overtime as and when required
High level of computer literacy with advanced MS-Excel skills
Up-to-date with current accounting standards and tax legislation
