What you will do
The Finance Manager is a key role reporting to Senior Director Finance MEA in Dubai and acts as an executive Finance Business Partner to the assigned LOB leadership team providing continuous coaching in multi-discipline finance policies & processes and will be based in our Isando Office.
You will support and contribute to the design and implementation of key business decisions & projects through pro-actively advising and engaging with the assigned LOB leadership team on all Finance matters; run readiness and feasibility checks with the appropriate COE departments & in-country finance organization.
You will work within a vibrant environment that provides a platform for you to use your leadership experience coupled with your technical knowledge of overall finance within South Africa.
How you will do it
As a Finance Manager, you will provide input and collaborate with other business and/or support departments in the deployment of strategic business transformations or simplification programs to optimize current business and Finance processes and tools; make a sound judgment on key Finance priorities and inform / promote effectively towards the business leaders; lead communication effort of Finance initiatives and procedures within assigned LOB; ensure financial reports, metrics and analysis are provided to assigned LOB leadership team in support of operational reviews, key business decisions, etc.; contribute to ensure that business practices and policies support efficient asset and risk management; lead Planning and Forecasting process for assigned LOB to ensure regional and branch plans translate into a Financial plan; responsible for the quality of the financial reporting, both internal and external, in compliance with corporate policies and legal requirements.
You will translate business requirements into Finance strategy and planning for the assigned LOB in close liaison with other (Regional) Finance BA’s and in alignment within the corporate and E/A Finance strategy framework; perform business analysis and ensure proper support of local Branch Managers; foster working capital related CI BBP sharing; exhibit and promote the highest level of ethics on conducting and supporting business transaction; be focal point of contact to the implementation and coordination of Global Finance initiatives; drive TWC and cash-flow and advise on short term and long term working capital improvements
You will also ensure proper control of the LOB business plans and performance through regular reviews (regional and local level), set benchmarking, backlog & pre-bid reviews, cash flow analysis, receivable and performance reviews; ensure proper internal controls are in responsible for application of DOA; ensure Delegation of Authority (DOA) compliance by all branches; keep abreast with Corporate & Regional Finance projects & initiatives.
Qualifications
What we look for
Required
Advanced Accounting degree / MBA, Master degree as Economist or equivalent
5 to 7 years successful professional international experience in Finance and in Managerial function
Experience in working in a multinational, matrix driven organization
Hands-on and willing to cooperate and support on all organizational levels especially in supporting the local Branch Managers and Finance Managers
Strong communication skills
Strong in intrinsic motivation, positive charisma and pro-active, organizational and change management skills
Absolute personal integrity, high reliability, and identification with the company
