Almost every other month we hear of film production companies warning aspiring actors to not fall victim from the many scams that pose as authentic auditions.
The latest production company to warn people of such a scam is Ferguson Films. This local production company has pleaded for people to not get in contact with a fraud Facebook page that is posing as their company.
Its founder – Connie Ferguson has warned people about the fake Facebook page and has asked that individuals do their own further research when it comes to such job posts.
Just last week, Uzalo’s producers pledged to fight against fake auditions that have been tarnishing the name of the show since its inception.
The producers announced that they would be embarking on an educational drive around legitimate industry processes, particularly around auditions, aimed at equipping aspiring actors with necessary industry knowledge.
So if you’ve inboxed the above mentioned Facebook page, please ensure that you halt all further contact with the individuals who are running the page.
