DA accuses Parliament of protecting President Ramaphosa over farm theft

The DA is accusing Parliament of protecting President Cyril Ramaphosa like it did for Jacob Zuma.

It comes after the Speaker refused the party’s request to probe the Phala Phala farm theft.

It says it’s now considering its legal options.

The party had asked for the establishment of an ad-hoc committee.

But Parliament says there are structures already in place to deal with the issue.
