Fans give Masechaba Ndlovu’s Women’s Month radio show a thumbs up
Masechaba Ndlovu is receiving major praise after making her debut on SAfm’s drive-time show on Thursday. The radio personality will be guest presenting the show throughout Women’s Month. During the month, she will tell the story of some of South Africa’s ‘unsung heroines’, using the hashtag, #SheIsPower. Listeners could not contain their excitement. Finally, a talk radio show I can listen to in the afternoon,” one Twitter user wrote. Another added: “You are such a power house!
Masheba’s return to the airwaves comes nearly five months after she was let go from Metro FM Things are are looking up for the star. I’m so humbled because for SAfm to give me the drive slot in one of the most important months of the year is a huge thing.
“What people might not know is that SAfm is the very first radio station in the history of South Africa, so this is really big for me. The first of August is also the station’s birthday, so the timing is just so Godly,” she told Drum last week.
Masechaba added that she is glad she can shine the spotlight on women and their amazing stories. “I personally want to delve into their professional journeys but also their personal lives, because we’re dynamic, we’re not just brands. We’re mothers and humans, so that’s one thing people can expect.
