Local media personality Bonang Matheba on multiple accounts has allowed many girls who couldn’t afford to fork out thousands on a matric ball dress to enjoy the experience by wearing one of her glamorous red-carpet gowns.
Now, one of the girls who wore one of said dresses in 2011 is a university graduate with a qualification in human resource administration – and Queen B couldn’t be prouder.
Taking to Twitter, the tweep whose username is @Babalwa_H shared a post tagging the 31-year-old media mogul.
“@bonang_m you gave me this dress for my matric dance in 2011. Now I’m a graduate I’ll forever be grateful,” she captioned the post which featured a snap of Bonang wearing the hot-pink dress.
And we all know that the best way to celebrate this kind of achievement for Bonang is with champagne, darling, particularly her personalised BNG brand – which is exactly what Babalwa will be receiving.
“Now…. I should send you some BNG!!” Bonang responded to the post, and added, “We rise. We soar. We are coming for EVERYTHING!! Proud of you….”
