Government to take steps against fake diesel resellers

Criminals are always a step ahead, evolving their methods for ill-gotten gains.

But the government has pulled the plug on petrol stations allegedly selling watered-down diesel, mixed with illuminating paraffin to unsuspecting motorists.

Deputy Director General of the Department of Mineral Resources and Energy Tseliso Maqubela spoke to the eNCA about this and the department’s plans to stop this practice.
