Factory worker crushed by Forklift

At 09H22 Wednesday morning Netcare 911 responded to reports of an industrial incident in Bredell, Kempton Park.

Reports from the scene indicate that a 26-year-old male was crushed between a Forklift and a truck.

The patient was assessed on scene and found to have sustained critical injuries and required Advanced Life Support intervention to stabilise him.

Due to the nature of his injuries the Netcare 1 Specialised Helicopter Air Ambulance was activated to airlift the critically injured patient to hospital for further treatment.
